Trinity Health Empowers Future Healthcare Heroes with Ultrasound Equipment Donation
MINOT, N.D. (KMOT) – Students from high schools in Minot had the opportunity to work directly with ultrasound devices.
Trinity Health
contributed several of its former devices to health initiatives in educational institutions.
Techs from Trinity went to Minot High and Minot North to demonstrate to the students how these devices can be lifesavers.
One of the six Minot High School students who participated in last week’s protest was 11th-grader Mylah Shaw.
Mylah mentioned that she aspires to work in the healthcare field someday, particularly in the NICU unit.
“It was truly amazing because I had the chance to try out the ultrasound machines, and it was particularly helpful getting everything explained to me so that I could understand what I was observing,” stated Mylah.
Trinity Health got new ultrasound machinery due to a contribution from the
Helmsley Charitable Trust.
Trinity Leadership stated that this collaboration with the educational institutions will aid in nurturing upcoming healthcare experts.
