A third instance of pertussis has been reported at Rostraver Elementary School within the Belle Vernon Area school district in Westmoreland County.

Two instances of the case were previously reported at the educational institution.
In her message to the community, Dr. Glasspool stated that the Pennsylvania Department of Health has not suggested altering current school procedures; however, they are requesting all faculty and parents to diligently watch for any signs of illness.
