Below is a full list of all 20
F1 25
drivers, ranked according to the ratings assigned by EA Sports. These ratings reflect each driver’s recent form and overall career performance, with explanations provided for their placement. Beyond the overall rating, drivers are also scored on four key stats: Experience (number of races), Racecraft (adaptability to car handling), Awareness (ability to avoid penalties), and Pace (lap times compared to top performers and teammates).

Isack Hadjar – Racing Bulls (68 OVR)

Consistent Junior Driving Performance Leads to Major Opportunity

  • Rating – 68
  • Experience – 51
  • Racecraft – 66
  • Awareness – 65
  • Pace – 72

Isack Hadjar is

one of five F1 rookies making their debut

in 2025. Hadjar entered the sport after an impressive run in the 2024 FIA Formula 2 Championship, where he secured second place overall with Campos Racing, earning four wins throughout the season. In his rookie F1 campaign, he has already scored points twice – at the Japanese and Saudi Arabian Grands Prix. Although he still lacks experience at the top level and is prone to receiving some penalties because of this, Hadjar has shown that, with focus and determination, he’s capable of delivering strong results.

Kimi Antonelli – Mercedes (72 OVR)

Assuming Hamilton’s Difficult-to-Replace Successor Role

  • Rating – 72
  • Experience – 50
  • Racecraft – 67
  • Awareness – 79
  • Pace – 76

Among all the rookies in the 2025 Formula 1 season, Kimi Antonelli faces the toughest challenge: replacing

seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton

. While he benefits from a more competitive car than many of his fellow newcomers, Antonelli is expected to deliver results on par with a seasoned veteran. In the junior categories, Antonelli built an impressive track record – winning the ADAC Formula 4 Championship with nine victories, the Italian Formula 4 Championship with 13 wins and multiple fastest laps, and the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine with five wins.

Since making his Formula 1 debut, Antonelli has scored points in five races, from the season opener in Australia through to Miami, missing the top ten only once in Bahrain, where he finished 11th. Notably, he also

set the fastest lap at the Japanese GP

.

Jack Doohan – Alpine (73 OVR)

Challenging and High-Pressure Run

  • Rating – 73
  • Experience – 51
  • Racecraft – 71
  • Awareness – 67
  • Pace – 78

Doohan made his Formula 1 debut in the final race of the 2024 season with Alpine at the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi, giving him a slight edge over other newcomers. Before

stepping into Formula 1

, the rookie competed in five lower racing categories – some with multiple runs – highlighted by a strong second-place finish in the 2021 FIA Formula 3 Championship and third place in the 2023 FIA Formula 2 Championship, consistently scoring points and securing multiple wins along the way.

However, his transition to the top tier was challenging. Started with a rumor that placed him outside his place in the team before racing, he began with a DNF, followed by mid-pack results that left him without any points in his early F1 outings.

Jack Doohan was replaced by Argentine driver Franco Colapinto after the Miami race (May 4, 2025), starting only 6 races of the 2025 season in the highest racing category.

Gabriel Bortoleto – Stake Kick Sauber (74 OVR)

Gabriel Bortoleto secured his spot in Formula 1 following an impressive Formula 2 World Championship win with Invicta Racing in 2024, claiming two victories and

consistently strong results throughout the season

. The Brazilian had also captured the Formula 3 title the year prior, in 2023. In his F1 debut, Bortoleto faced frustration with the Stake F1 Team Kick Sauber’s ongoing performance struggles, with a 14th-place finish marking his best race result. However, he delivered standout performances in qualifying, even reaching Q3 and going head-to-head with the top teams.

Oliver Bearman – Haas (74 OVR)

Considerable Background in Important Driving Roles

  • Rating – 74
  • Experience – 52
  • Racecraft – 84

Like several other F1 drivers, Oliver Bearman had the chance to step in during the 2024 season, replacing Carlos Sainz at the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, where he impressively finished 7th. That same year, he also raced for Haas in two additional Grands Prix,

securing a top-10 finish

in just one of them.

In his junior career, the British driver had strong performances, finishing third in the FIA Formula 3 Championship with Prema Racing and winning both the ADAC Formula 4 and Italian Formula 4 championships, collecting multiple victories and podiums along the way. During his Formula 1 debut season, Bearman scored points in three races with Haas and delivered solid results in qualifying, showcasing his potential at the top level.

Long-Standing F1 Driver with No Major Achievements

  • Rating – 78
  • Experience – 83

  • Awareness – 78
  • Pace – 76

As part of the team owned by his father, Lance Stroll has

had a lengthy run in Formula 1

, making his debut in 2017 with just one top-10 finish that season. Throughout his career, he has secured a few podiums, but in recent seasons, he has struggled to stand out against his competitors and, most importantly, his teammates.

During his junior career, the Canadian driver found more success, winning the FIA Formula 3 European Championship and the Italian Formula 4 Championship. He also took part in several Endurance races, although without making a significant impact in that category. Stroll began the 2025 season with several point-scoring performances, initially outperforming his teammate and two-time F1 champion, Fernando Alonso.

Liam Lawson – Racing Bulls (80 OVR)

Steady Racing Performance Despite Unstable F1 Career

  • Rating – 80
  • Experience – 54
  • Racecraft – 76
  • Awareness – 75
  • Pace – 85

Although Liam Lawson is technically considered a rookie, he holds an advantage over many of his peers

thanks to prior F1 experience

. In 2023, he filled in for AlphaTauri (now Racing Bulls) for five races, earning points in one. He returned in 2024 for the final six races, scoring points in two of them. In 2025, Lawson began the season with Red Bull as a replacement for Sergio Perez but was only able to complete two races before being replaced by Yuki Tsunoda, who brought Lawson back to the Racing Bulls team.

Lawson’s career includes a strong background in motorsport: he finished second in Super Formula with three wins, placed third in the 2022 FIA Formula 2 Championship, secured three runner-up finishes in Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters, came fifth in the FIA Formula 3 Championship, and earned second place in ADAC Formula 4. This extensive experience makes him one of the most seasoned rookies on the grid.
