A young passenger took it upon herself to entertain her flight during a delay, and the internet had a lot to of feelings about it.
In the
video
shared on Tiktok, a girl can be seen holding up the phone normally used by flight attendants to make announcements to the cabin as she sings “How Far I’ll Go” from the
Moana
soundtrack over the intercom for at least two minutes.
Several passengers can be heard humming and lightly singing along with her as she got further into the song. While the poster didn’t say whether her performance was endorsed by the flight crew, no one steps in to stop her and the atmosphere seems calm.

“When your Delta flight is delayed 2 hours and you circle Orlando for another 2… But then a little girl sings
Moana
on the crew mic and suddenly everything feels okay 🥹🎤✨,” the Tiktok user, druziroaming, captioned the video, which garnered over 4 million views, nearly half a million likes and nearly 24k comments.
While the poster appeared to have enjoyed the sing-a-long, several others on TikTok were not huge fans.
One user commented that watching the unsolicited performance while stuck on a delayed flight was “actually my worst nightmare and personal hell.” The comment got over 350k likes.
Another person agreed, saying that “this would send me over the edge.” A third joked that hearing the girl sing would “get me out [of] the plane immediately.”
Another person teased in a comment that garnered 219k likes that the girl was “not even young enough to be acceptable to do all this.” Others agreed with another person writing, “nah she’s too old for this.”
Several other quired about how the whole thing came about. One person questioned, “How did this even happen? Did they ask if anyone wants to sing?” Another asked, “How did it even get to this point? Who thought, ‘Oh I know what everyone needs. A girl to sing
Moana
that’ll [calm] everyone down.”
Similar situations have happened in the past where passengers have broken out into song on a plane. In 2023, singer
Bobbi Storm
shared in an
Instagram
post that she was
nearly kicked off
a Delta flight after she broke into song and a crew member had to ask her to be “quiet” and “sit down.”
“I sing for the Lord,” Storm was heard saying in the clip as she backed away down the aisle. “I’m doing what the Lord is telling me to do.”
