San Joaquin County Fair returns with rides, food and live entertainment this weekend
Carnival rides, fair food and live entertainment will return to Stockton this weekend for the San Joaquin County Fair.
The three-day event runs Friday, May 30, through Sunday, June 1, at the San Joaquin County Fairgrounds, 1658 S. Airport Way in Stockton.
“Get ready for a one-of-a-kind fair experience that blends daytime traditions with vibrant nighttime fun. During the day, enjoy all your fair favorites—classic rides, delicious food, and exciting exhibits,” the
San Joaquin County Fair website states
. “But when the sun sets, the fairgrounds come alive with neon lights, lively entertainment, and an electric atmosphere that’s fun for all ages.”
This year’s theme is “Sunny Days, Neon Nights.” Three deals will be offered each day.
Sunny Days, Neon Nights deals:
Friday, May 30
- 3 p.m. to midnight — Kids Day (children 12 years old and under free)
Saturday, May 31
- Noon to midnight — Grad Night ($10 with cap and gown)
Sunday, June 1
- Noon to midnight — Jaripeo
Entertainment at the county fair
Entertainment this weekend will take place at the concert hall and the main stage. The lineup includes the musical group Malo and special guest rapper LaRussell, a Vallejo native.

- 6 to 9 p.m. — Malo with special guest (concert ticket required)

Saturday, May 31
- 5:30 to 8 p.m. — Khmer1Jivit and SreyPin (concert ticket required)

- 3 p.m. — Latin Magic (free concert)

Ticket information
Fair gates open at 3 p.m. Friday and noon Saturday and Sunday.
Presale general admission tickets to the fair online start at $11 for adults and $8 for children and seniors. Tickets can be purchased at
sanjoaquinfair.com/p/tickets
or at the box office at gate prices.
Parking is $11 per vehicle, including motorcycles, and is available on a first-come, first-served basis, the fair’s website states.

RTD offering free rides to the county fair
This year, the Regional Transit District is offering a free park-and-ride shuttle to the San Joaquin County Fair from UEI College at 4994 Claremont Ave. in Stockton.
Starting at 2 p.m. on Friday, May 30, the shuttle arrives every 30 minutes. On Saturday and Sunday, the shuttle will begin service at 11 a.m. and run every 30 minutes, according to an RTD Facebook post.
