The No. 3-seed Tigers (43-13) defeated the Aggies 4-3 in the

conference tournament quarterfinals

at the Hoover Metropolitan Stadium in Hoover, Alabama. The win advances LSU to the semifinals where it’ll face No. 7 seed Ole Miss (39-18) on Saturday afternoon.

The game between LSU and Ole Miss will mark their initial encounter of the season as bitter adversaries.

The victor will proceed to the SEC Tournament Championship Game on Sunday, May 25.
