HOover, AL.—For the second consecutive year and for the third time in the past four years,

Vanderbilt baseball

will encounter their opponent Tennessee in the SEC tournament.

Last season, the Vols defeated the Commodores in the semifinals, and this year they will face each other once more under similar circumstances on May 24.

Vanderbilt (40-16) triumphed over Oklahoma with a score of 6-1 in the quarterfinals, and Tennessee (43-15) secured victory against Texas with a final score of 7-5 after 12 innings.

Earlier in May, The Commodores emerged victorious over the Vols during their match at Lindsey Nelson Stadium. In the quarterfinals, both squads had already sent out their top pitchers, Liam Doyle and JD Thompson, respectively.
