The Los Angeles Dodgers’ designated hitter, Shohei Ohtani, smashed a towering three-run homer that secured the team’s 14-11 win against their division foes, the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Over the past seven games, Ohtani has been impressive, smashing five home runs, contributing 10 RBIs, and maintaining a slash line of .414/.514/1.138.


Considered perhaps the top player in baseball, Ohtami has started to increase his output following a less impressive beginning to the season by his high expectations.

On Friday evening, when the Dodgers required his assistance the most against the Diamondbacks, Ohtani responded with an unquestionable home run. Despite building a significant early advantage, the team squandered their lead but eventually reclaimed it during the top of the ninth inning.
