GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) — On Friday, May 23, at 6:30 p.m., Bill Jartz signed off for the last time after a 40-year tenure with WBAY Action 2 News.

For 27 years, he and Cami Rapson have co-anchored side by side, developing a deep friendship along the way. They’ve celebrated numerous joyful and significant events both during their broadcasts and within the confines of the newsroom.

Growing up in Clintonville, Bill was fond of watching Action 2 News as a child, and he has always cherished those origins. He tends to commend others and play down his achievements, often stating that he is merely “a part of the team.”

On Bill’s final day at WBAY, Cami took some time to chat with him about his impressive 40-year journey with the station.

Heads up: There’s a chance you’ll shed tears. To be honest, so did we.
