A TEENAGER who launched a women’s health business raised £3,000 for charity with a celebrity football match and now plans to host more events.

As previously reported, Chelsey Crawford, 19, set up a social platform to educate others about conditions like endometriosis and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), along with co-founder Clara, whom she met online.

The pair are in the process of launching their first business venture – a pain relief hoodie to help combat pain and recently hosted a Sellebrity Soccer charity match at Fleet Town FC, to raise money for The Menstrual Health Project.

Delighted having accumulated a total of £3,000, Chelsey now looks to continue fundraising and wants to host more events to keep the conversation about women’s health going.

She said: “£3000 is a lot of money and it was more than we expected to raise. I am honestly super proud of myself. The day went so much better than I expected and it was a great turnout and the weather was just perfect.

“The event went amazingly. Myself, a few of my friends, Kelly from our main sponsor Elite Sports Marketing and one of the charity owners, Gabz Person, all got to meet the players before the match and they were honestly just the kindest. If it wasn’t for Fleet Town FC, Sellebrity Soccer, all of the celebrities, the charity and of course Elite Sports Marketing and all the other sponsors, this day wouldn’t have been possible.

“We have even managed to secure our 2026 game too, for the same charity and the same cause.”

Following the success of the event, Chelsey already has a few ideas in mind about what she intends to do next.

She continued: “Because of this, our small business is now expanding into doing women’s health pop up events, and we’re doing our first one next month.

“It’s an event that women and girls can attend who have or don’t have endometriosis, pcos and Adenomyosis. Men can also come along, we want to educate people on these conditions and help eliminate the stigma and lack of understanding towards these conditions and periods.

“We hope to do more in the future and cannot wait.”

) followed by another on August 16 at The Key Centre in Elvetham Heath.

Chelsey explained how the celebrities at the charity match were curious to learn more about the conditions.

She said: “A few of the celebrities were even up for trying out our period simulator that we brought along. Ricky (also known as The Scully Dad, of social media fame) and Max Pitman went head to head at a menstrual health quiz and Ricky did win, we might even do a rematch.

“Ethan Aveiro, Louis Matthews, Abi Moores, Nathan Campbell, Gabz’ partner Aaron, Natalie Taylor, Reuben Collins and Courtney Massay all tried the period simulator as well and they were incredible.

“Very funny to watch too. They were all so open about learning about these conditions – Endometriosis, PCOS And Adenomyosis – and how much it affects women, including myself, Kelly and Gabz as well as Anna, the other charity owner.”

Chelsey also provided an update on her business venture: “We are slowly working on our pain relief hoodies and cannot wait to share more and for them to be out for everyone to buy, being a small business, we don’t have much money but I believe we’ll get there.”
