Nicola Peltz to appear in court following the death of her dog Nala
Nicola Peltz has reportedly been ordered to attend court, following the death of her dog Nala.
Peltz – who is rumoured to be embroiled in the Beckham’s family drama – has been ordered to appear in court by a New York judge for a deposition before October 30, according to court documents obtained by

.
The publication adds that Peltz will have to release medical records, including the necropsy report, relating to her chihuahua’s death.
The Standard has contacted representatives of Peltz for comment.
It was reported in July last year
that Peltz was suing the dog groomer who treated her beloved chihuahua before it died.
At the time, Peltz said her pet was fit and healthy before the appointment, but came out struggling to breathe and was dead within hours.
According to papers obtained by
TMZ
, Peltz pointed the finger at HoundSpa dog groomer Jony Ceballos, alleging he has a history of “intentional and malicious abuse of dogs”.
The wife of
Brooklyn Beckham
further alleged Nala was left injured and in severe physical distress after being treated for a routine grooming in a HoundSpa mobile van.
Peltz additionally called out HoundSpa owner Deborah “Deb” Gittleman, for continuing to keep Ceballos on the payroll despite there allegedly being past complaints about his mistreatment of animals.
The heiress – who notes she treated the pet “like her own child” – says she has been left “emotionally distressed by the whole ordeal”, particularly witnessing Nala’s death after rushing her to the vet following the appointment.
Peltz claims her other dog, Angel, also suffered in the aftermath of the grooming, reporting that the dog “shakes/screams from terror when left alone” now.
In Touch
reports that Houndspa and the owners have denied all allegations of wrongdoing – the groomer Ceballos has also denied he played a role in the dog’s death. His lawyer argued Peltz was “liable for her comparative negligence”.
Recently, Brooklyn Beckham declared his unwavering support for his wife
as rumours of a rift with his family continue to grow
.
The 26-year-old and Peltz, 30, are said to be at odds with his parents, David and Victoria Beckham, and have been notably absent from several recent family events — including David’s 50th birthday celebrations earlier this month.
Beckham raised eyebrows when he shared a video of himself and Peltz on a motorcycle ride in Los Angeles and wrote in the caption: “My whole world x
“I will love you forever x I always choose you baby x you’re the most amazing person I know xx me and you forever baby.”
