Millie Bobby Brown reprises her role as Eleven, while Finn Wolfhard is back as Mike Wheeler. Gaten Matarazzo plays Dustin Henderson, and Caleb McLaughlin appears as Lucas Sinclair. The claim originated from a

Facebook

post by “Rap Music Star” and linked to a non-verified entertainment site stating, “A Netflix source reveals Eminem will play a psychologically dark antagonist in the show’s last season.” However, a comment on the post noted, “Heard it’s just a rumor. Nothing has been confirmed through Netflix.”

Instead of Stranger Things, Eminem is officially confirmed to appear in Netflix’s Happy Gilmore 2. During a December interview on

The Dan Patrick Show

, Adam Sandler said, “I think we just hung out a day with Eminem and we just shot and shot and was insane, said a million things we can use and a million things that, we’re glad we have him on tape.” The trailer released at Netflix’s Tudum event on May 31 confirmed Eminem’s cameo, alongside appearances by Bad Bunny, Post Malone, and other celebrities.

Stranger Things Season 5 will premiere in three volumes: November 26, December 25, and December 31, 2025.
